Planning consent has now been granted by both Sevenoaks and Tonbridge & Malling councils for a major hotel and leisure development at London Golf Club, which straddles the two authorities. Working in collaboration with Hollaway Architects, Turkington Martin developed the landscape masterplan for the development which includes a 240 bed hotel, 78 guest lodges, a new driving range, tennis courts and natural swimming lake. The design approach was predicated on the retention and extension of the existing landscape structure to integrate the scheme within the wider rural setting and greenbelt context.
