We're very excited to see another of our completed play refurbishment projects, Tachbrook Estate for Peabody, completed and open for the residents to use in time for the school holidays.
The design was developed through extensive consultation with the community, holding specific engagement events with the estates children and youth residents to help shape and inform the design.
Incorporating previously unloved green space, we have been able to expand the play area, creating a calm space which incorporates a willow dome and tunnel to allow children a space to relax and watch without feeling isolated from their peers.
The design includes new pollinator friendly planting and trees and working with Civic we were able to include new attenuation tanks as part of the surface build up, creating a more sustainable, climate resilient play space.
Completed by Frosts Landscape Construction, they delivered the work to the highest standards and were a real asset to the completion of such a positive project.
