LocationShadwell, East London
Comprehensive refurbishment of existing courtyards within the listed Shadwell Estate which was one of the first Peabody developments in the 1890's. The proposals include new play facilities, garden areas and lighting.
"...The landscaping works have created a wonderful space for our residents to enjoy which will promote their health and wellbeing by providing opportunities for relaxation, to sit and socialise with neighbours and for children to play.
It was also interesting to hear about the sustainability measures that have been included to encourage London wildlife on our estates."
