We are pleased to report that planning consent has been received for the redevelopment of existing flats and garages at Fanshawe Road, Cambridge to provide 84 new homes (54% of them affordable) designed around a new high quality public open space on behalf of Cambridge Investment Partnership.
We worked collaboratively with the client, architects and officers from the Greater Cambridge Shared Planning Service on developing the design through extensive pre-application discussions. The scheme comprises four apartment buildings and two terraces that form shared courtyards and frame a central open space that links Fanshawe Road with the existing Coleridge Recreation Ground, providing informal amenity and a 35% biodiversity net gain.
